My first contact with the wind on the Baltic sea was 7 years ago, when I sailed from Poland to Swenden and also stopped in CPH, and back than I truly appreciated the weather :)) and the wind.. not the case anymore.
As my friend Rothan pointed out, bad weather has a reason, still.. explainable logically, cause I think it was not always like this.. I mean: I saw photos with blues sky in CPH.. right?
